Easy and Natural Remedies for Skincare

When it comes to all natural skincare, easier is better. There is no need to spend a lot of money on expensive treatments made up of harsh ingredients. Opt for natural skincare remedies instead.

      Water

Hydrating is the first and foremost rule of good skin. Be sure to drink a minimum of eight glasses of water a day to ensure your body stays hydrated. When you drink plenty of water, the toxins are flushed out of your body on a regular basis. You will notice that this cuts down on blemishes and acne. It also helps improve the elasticity of your skin and combat dryness. In turn, it diminishes or even erases fine lines and wrinkles.

      Avocado and Honey Moisturizer

Dry skin can be a problem, and oftentimes over the counter moisturizers do nothing but leave your skin feeling greasy or oily. Try an all-natural moisturizer made from avocado and honey that leaves your skin smooth and silky. Combine 3 tablespoons of cream, 1/4 of an avocado, and 1 tablespoon of honey in a blender until smooth. Apply to face, and leave on for a half hour. Rinse with warm water.

      Fight Wrinkles with Fruit

Anti-oxidants are known to boost circulation in the skin. Eating a salad made up of strong anti-oxidant foods will help combat wrinkles by improving your circulation. Some foods to include are blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, pomegranate seeds, and walnuts.

      Natural Acne Treatment

It never fails that when you are planning for a night out on the town a blemish will pop up in the middle of your forehead. There is a natural acne spot treatment that can help. All you need is Brewer’s yeast, fresh lemon juice, and water. Mix all the ingredients into a paste, cover the blemish for at least 10 minutes, and rinse with warm water. The yeast fights bacteria, and the lemon juice helps dry out the blemish.

      Tone with Basil

If your skin is prone to acne, a good toner can help minimize the problem. For an all-natural toner, simply steep 3 tablespoons of dried basil leaves in a cup of boiling water until cooled. Strain the leaves out, and use a cotton ball to gently wipe the remaining liquid over your face. Basil acts as an antiseptic while also improving circulation to your skin.

      Sugar Facial Scrub

A facial scrub is great for getting rid of dead, flaky skin cells. This all-natural scrub uses cream, white sugar, brown sugar, ground almonds, and olive oil. Combine into a paste and apply to dry skin using circular motions. Rinse well with warm water, then cold water, and pat dry.
